Step-by-step plan: descaling the kettle
Time to descale your kettle. For this cleaning job, follow the step-by-step plan below so that your kettle is completely clean again after descaling. Within half an hour, you will have properly cleaned your kitchen appliance and the kettle will be ready for the next cup of tea.
- Fill the kettle for 90% with water.
- Then add the Super Kitchen Appliance Descaler to this.
- Let it soak for eight minutes and then turn on the kettle.
- Now let half the water out and wait for another eight minutes.
- Turn the kettle back on.
- Once the kettle turns off again, you can flush all the water down the sink.
- Make sure you fill the whole kettle at least three times and drain it low, before making a new cup of tea. That way you can be sure the descaler has disappeared.
