Bimportant difference
The main difference between a solvent- or water-based impregnating agent is that you can only use Impregnating Agent Solvent on a previously treated substrate.
A good way to armour your house against moisture is to impregnate the facade. This involves making the material water-repellent and mould-resistant. But these are not the only benefits of impregnation. The impregnating agent also works, for example; dirt repellent, fire retardant, (sea) water resistant and graffiti repellent. Super Impregnating Agent is suitable for impregnating both existing and new porous substrates.
Here are the advantages of an impregnated facade:
- No moisture in the house
- Insulating effect
- Dirt, algae and graffiti are easy to remove
So do you want to repel moisture and dirt, among other things? Then of course you need to impregnate with Super Impregnation!
For a lasting waterproof result, take the following 6 steps:
1. Remove sand, clay and other loose particles from the substrate
2. Before treatment, clean (degrease) the substrate with Super Degreaser or Super Industrial Cleaner
3. Assess the substrate for present moisture. Allow to dry thoroughly before impregnating
4. Take precautionary measures to avoid splashing on plastics, paving and glass
5. In case of any splashes, clean immediately with Super Degreaser or Super Industrial Cleaner
6. Apply the product to the substrate using a flow or spray method at a temperature of at least 8 °C and dry weather. The impregnating agent must be well absorbed with a minimum consumption of 0.5 litres per square metre. If this differs, a second treatment should be carried out at all times.
