Sustainable to the core
Biodegradable products
Almost all of SuperCleaners's ECO products are biodegradable. Thanks to carefully selected raw materials, these products break down naturally. If anything does end up in nature, the consequences are minimal. So you contribute to a cleaner world - without cleaning less.
Concentrate products: strength in small quantities
A large part of the range consists of concentrate products. You only need a little of it, diluted with water and your cleaner is ready. That means:
- Less consumption
- Less packaging
- Less transport
- More control over dosage
This is not only beneficial for the user, but also sustainable throughout the chain.
Recycled packaging
Not only the content, but also the packaging counts. That is why SuperCleaners ECO's bottles are made of recycled plastic. By reusing plastic, we avoid unnecessary oil production and reduce the ecological footprint.
Responsible transport: FSC boxes
Sustainability is also considered in logistics. All shipping boxes are FSC-certified. This means that the cardboard comes from responsibly managed forests - with respect for nature and people.
What is an ECO Label?
A ECO Label is an official European label that guarantees you as a consumer that a product is environmentally friendly - from raw material to packaging. It is not a casual label, but a recognition based on strict requirements.
What does the ECO Label stand for?
- Efficiency: the product must clean as well as traditional alternatives
- Ecological raw materials: biodegradable and not harmful to aquatic or soil life
- Eco-friendly production: minimal emissions and waste
- Sustainable packaging: recycled or recyclable
- Independent review: periodic inspection by recognised bodies
Do ecological cleaners work as well as ordinary ones?
Yes, absolutely. Modern ecological cleaning products are developed with powerful, biodegradable ingredients that are at least as effective as traditional products. They remove dirt, grease and limescale without harsh chemicals such as chlorine or ammonia.
At SuperCleaners, every ECO product is extensively tested for cleaning power, ease of use and safety. In addition, many of our products feature the EU Ecolabel, which means they meet strict performance requirements. So: eco-friendly cleaning without compromising on results.
What is the difference between eco-friendly, ECO and
ECO label?
- Environmentally friendly is a general term: it means that a product or process is less harmful to the environment.
- Eco often refers to ecological raw materials or production processes, but is not a protected term.
- Ecolabel is an official EU quality mark. Only products meeting strict requirements for composition, packaging, performance and production are allowed to carry this label.
In short: all Ecolabel products are eco, but not all eco products already have the Ecolabel. At SuperCleaners, several products already bear this label. The rest will soon follow.
The difference between concentrated and ready-to-eat
Concentrate products are more sustainable as well as more economical.
With one litre of concentrated industrial cleaner, you can make up to 25 bottles of ready-to-use detergent. This means:
- Less plastic waste
- Fewer transport movements
- Fewer emissions
- Less storage space
You don't transport litres of water, just the active ingredient. Now that is smart cleaning.

✔ The floor cleaner easily removes soiling and leaves a lovely fresh scent. Thanks to its strong concentration, the product can be greatly diluted with water, making it very economical to use.
Here's why you should stop overdosing!
Using more than necessary is wasteful, of product as well as raw materials. In fact, it makes the environment heavier and often does not work any better. Our products are powerfully formulated: the recommended dosage is more than enough for a clean result.
Tip: Use a metering pump or dilution bottle to work accurately.
Why do ecological cleaning products sometimes have hazard symbols anyway?
A hazard symbol does not mean that a product is not ecological.
Compare it to a lemon: it is natural, but if you get the juice in your eyes, it still irritates.
Some ECO products contain natural acids or degreasers that can cause irritation if used incorrectly. This is normal, and says nothing about the environmental friendliness of the product.
Note: At SuperCleaners, we work to avoid even these symbols wherever possible.
So are cleaning products without an Ecolabel less sustainable?
Not necessarily. Many products from SuperCleaners already meet the requirements of the Ecolabel, but the application process takes time. Therefore, you sometimes see products without a label that technically do fall within the standards.
Certification is in full swing. So you can rest assured that we are transparent, ambitious and serious about sustainability.
