You will probably have asked yourself whether you can just use the cleaning product you are using. You might think that you need a certain licence with the use of a cleaning product or that you have to follow guidelines.
The answer
Any doubts you may have can be dispelled by yourself, as you do not need a licence to use a cleaning product. Nor are there any special guidelines you need to take into account. Of course, you should always follow a product's instructions for use.
The reason
I can hear you thinking; "How is it that despite all the substances and chemicals, there are no strict regulations on the use of cleaning products?". The fact is that while there are strict laws and regulations, they mainly apply to the manufacturer and not the consumer.
Laws and regulations
The manufacturer may only sell a cleaning product if it complies with guidelines applicable throughout Europe. Should a manufacturer then also want to enter the Dutch market, the product must also comply with laws, regulations and the Commodities Act from the Dutch government. For the producer, it does not stop at one or two guidelines he has to adhere to.
Here is a list of all laws and regulations;
- General Product Safety Directive
- Detergents Regulation
- CLP regulation
- REACH regulation
- Substances and Preparations Directive
- Environmental Management Act and Commodities Act
- Plant protection products and biocides act
- Manufacturing and transport legislation
Because of all the laws and regulations, only products that are safe in the use for which they were developed can be found on the Dutch market.
SuperCleaners
Even SuperCleaners's SUPER powerful products, which are the most powerful on the market, you may use without a special licence or directive. As with other cleaning products, you do have to follow the instructions for use. And if you don't have to doubt about anything, is whether it gets clean!
