How to use our cement slurry remover
- To remove cement slurry, mix Super cement slurry remover with water. The ratio is a maximum of 1 litre of remover with 20 litres of water. For smaller jobs, we have the 1 litre cement residue remover and for big jobs, the 5 litre version.
- First clean the tiles with water. Then apply the diluted ratio to the tiles with a sponge, mop or cloth.
- Then leave the product on for about 5 minutes. Do not let it dry up! Then clean the tiles with a brush or sponge until the cement residue is gone.
- Rinse the surface with some clean water to ensure there is no residual cement slurry or product left on the tiles.

Besides cement slurry remover, there are a number of other methods to remove cement slurry.
- Fill a bucket with lukewarm to warm water and then use a scouring pad. Scour over the cement residue with the scouring sponge and then polish it away. When doing this, be careful not to sand away the grout.
- Vinegar and water can also help. Use a ratio of 50% water and 50% vinegar. Because vinegar is an acid, it is not suitable for all tiles. So be aware of this when using vinegar as a remedy.
- Finally, you can remove cement residue with a window scraper. In doing so, you scratch it off the tiles. Do this carefully, of course, as you might get scratches.
